Career Coaching
The fact that you are reading this suggests that you are obviously thinking seriously about your future and wondering about getting support. Why? Because in the words of Jim Rohn “if you keep on doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always got”.
This is what might be going through your mind
- You are happy where you are but want to prepare for the next steps. This could be within your organisation or just keeping an eye on the market.
- You think your skills and competences have changed. Or you’ve changed.
- You are already actively looking for a career change but are not producing the results you would like or even any results at all.
- You might not even know where to start.
- You’ve been laid off or are nervous about the future
- Your goals have changed and you want to re-package yourself.
- You are returning from an international assignment or are part of another planned transition.
- You are not getting calls or mails from recruiters, executive search specialists or companies.
- You are getting calls from recruiters, executive search specialists or companies but don’t know what to say to them.
- You are not successful in interviews.
- You use words such as assisted, worked in, co-ordinated and helped when you describe your career history.
- The opportunities offered are not what interest you. Maybe you haven’t applied for a job for several years. Perhaps you want to change sectors but don’t know how.
- Your online profile has few hits. Your networking efforts are ineffective or you need to create a strategic network.
- You have picked a date sometime in the future to launch your career strategy.
- Your professional and personal goals are not aligned. You want to do and contribute more.
Above all you are starting to feel confused, isolated and even depressed.
